The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia (ELCIN) has grown significantly to the total of 146 parishes according to the statistic of 2019. Then, 134 out of the 146 parishes have submitted their annual statistical report. Nine parishes from the Western Diocese and three (3) from Eastern Diocese did not submit their report.
The calculation is as follows:
- ELCIN registered members in 2019 are 875823
- Parishes 146 countrywide Ordained pastors 167 serving at parishes, offices, Chaplaincy and government institutions
- Commissioned deacons 39 doing social service for the community
- Parish Secretaries & treasurer 167
- Voluntary workers 5097
